THE Frankie and Benny’s restaurant in Warrington has permanently closed.
Located at Gemini 8, near to junction eight of the M62 at Burtonwood, the family eatery opened for the final time on Friday, June 18.
Frankie and Benny’s has not responded to a request for comment from the Warrington Guardian.
However, a sign posted in premises’ window stated: “We are sorry to inform you this restaurant is permanently closed.
“Thanks for all the good times.
“Visit our website to find your nearest Frankie’s.”
In June last year, the Restaurant Group – which owns the brand – confirmed plans to shut 125 Frankie and Benny’s sites across the UK, cutting 3,000 jobs.
The closest remaining branches to the town are Liverpool, the Trafford Centre and Cheshire Oaks.
