PARR Hall’s panto launches tomorrow, Friday, to keep the festivities going for another week.

Tony Peers Productions will be presenting the family friendly Cinderella at the historic Palmyra Square venue with a little help from Warrington’s Felicia Burns School of Dance until January 12.

The classic rags-to-riches story has been given a modern update with laugh-out-loud humour, toe-tapping tunes and a little magic.

Tony Peers, producer of the Parr Hall panto, is a firm believer that pantomimes are a key part of Christmas festivities and that this annual tradition is the perfect way to bring families together.

He said: “Pantomime is very often the first opportunity for children to see a live show, so it is very important that we encourage this tradition and it is amazing how often we see children who made their first visit aged five and are now returning with their children.

Warrington Guardian:

“Cinderella is the most popular and well-known of all pantomimes and is probably the most glamorous.

“From the glittering ballroom scene with Cinderella’s coach to the antics of the Ugly Sisters, not forgetting the loveable Buttons, it’s not a surprise that this pantomime continues to be one of the best-loved shows around.

“We’re also extremely fortunate to welcome back the Felicia Burns School of Dance.

Each year, Warrington dancers of all ages take to the Parr Hall stage and deliver a spectacular performance and we’re delighted to be working with them once again.”

This year, Parr Hall will again be reaching out to as many people as possible with designated signed and relaxed (special educational needs and dementia-friendly) performances on Sunday, January 5, and Wednesday, January 8.

Chris Persoglio, venues and events manager at Pyramid and Parr Hall, said: “This is a time when all generations come together to enjoy a festive tradition and it’s always a pleasure to welcome back familiar faces year after year.

“Panto is a show that never fails to connect with its audience, whether they’re five or 105.

“As such, reaching out to families and people of all ages and abilities is a key aim for us at Parr Hall and we look forward to welcoming new and return visitors alike this January.”
