INDULGE in that cosy après-ski feeling as Trafford Centre’s Alpine Village returns for Christmas 2019.
Now open, it offers a range of seasonal treats including Yorkshire pudding wraps, German bratwurst, halloumi fries, hot chocolate and mulled wine.
Don’t miss the Christmas chocolate factory, with lots of chocolatey festive treats to choose from too.
You can also take your treats into the Alpine Village’s huge tepee and snuggle up by the fire pit while you relax with live music and entertainment.
Christmas wreath workshops will also be run by Ixia Flowers with a backdrop of festive music while enjoying a mulled wine or glass of Prosecco.
The sessions launch on Sunday and take place on selected dates until December 15.
The Alpine Village can be found outside the Great Hall, where there will also be a Victorian carousel and a big wheel, which is more than 55m high.
Alison Niven, centre director at Trafford Centre, said: “The Alpine Village is a cosy, winter destination that is sure to get you in the Christmas spirit.
“Indulge in a hot chocolate or mulled wine while enjoying entertainment by a warm fire - a perfect way to unwind while doing some Christmas shopping or enjoying a festive day out with the family.”
The Alpine Village is open until January 5. Opening hours are 11am to 10pm Monday to Friday, 10am to 9pm Saturdays and 12pm to 6pm Sundays.
Hours differ on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day so for more information visit intu.co.uk/traffordcentre/events. Spaces for the wreath workshops are limited and can be booked at ixiaflowersuk.com/flower-workshops.
