CENTENARY Theatre Company are about to about to enter the house of fun and get their baggy trousers on this November, with their latest production, Our House.

The musical, which recently went on a UK tour with Birchwood’s own George Sampson, features the hits of Madness and tells the story of 16-year old Joe Casey, who attempts to impress his date by breaking into a building site overlooking his home. What follows is a series of ‘what ifs’ accompanied with many humourous and emotional moments.

Mike Pirks, from Warrington’s Centenary, said: “Following the success of their last musical outing Strictly Musicals, in which two Centenary members won awards at the Manchester Musical Awards, Centenary has maintained a loyal membership and following and shows no signs of slowing down in 2020.

“With the recent announcement of their next musical, the Cole Porter classic, Anything Goes, set for May 2020 and a series of other projects in the pipeline, it is looking to be a very busy time for the society that has been established for more than 150 years.”
