PETER Kay’s Phoenix Nights is to be shown on the big screen for the first time as part of a big fundraiser for Cancer Research UK.

Screenings are taking place in Manchester and London next year to celebrate 19 years since the Phoenix Club opened its doors and revealed the world of Brian Potter, Jerry ‘The Saint’ St Clair, Les Alanos, Max and Paddy and all the gang.

At Manchester Apollo, you can watch series one on February 7 and series two on February 8 – or you can watch both series back-to-back at a matinee on February 8.

It costs £15 to watch the series individually, which include exclusive pre-recorded interviews with the cast, or it is £25 for a joint ticket or for the bumper matinee screening.

Caro Evans, director of partnerships at Cancer Research UK said “We are so grateful to Peter for arranging these unique screenings of such an iconic TV series to raise money. The money that is raised from the events will fund vital research to beat cancer.”

Tickets are on sale on Saturday at 9am and are suitable for anyone aged 13 and over. Visit gigsandtours.com
