ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE BOROUGH OF WARRINGTON (BROAD LANE, BURTONWOOD) (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2016 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Broad Lane from its junction with Penny Lane to the Borough boundary with St. Helens. The Order will be effective as follows:

From 6.00pm Saturday 7th January 2017 to 5.00am Monday 9th January 2017 and 6.00pm on Saturday 14th January 2017 to 5.00am on Monday 16th January 2017 as and when the signs are in place. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via: -
Broad Lane via Penny Lane, Penkford Lane, Pennington Lane, Newton Road, Derbyshire Hill Road and vice versa. The closure is required to allow Network Rail safe access to the railway line.

Burtonwood Road - from its junction with the circulatory carriageway at the M62 Junction 8 to its junction with Lockheed Road
Skyline Drive - from its junction with Burtonwood Road/M62 Junction 8 for a distance of approximately 300
metres in a westerly direction. Temporary Prohibition of Right Turn Charon Way To turn right into Burtonwood Road Burtonwood Road To turn right into Charon Way Temporary Prohibition of Left Turn Charon Way To turn left into Burtonwood Road Temporary 10 mph Speed Limit (this will involve the use of a convoy vehicle)
Burtonwood Road From its junction with Kingswood Road to its junction with Lockheed Road (including the circulatory carriageway of the M62 Junction 8)
Charon Way From its junction with Apollo Park to its junction with Burtonwood Road/M62 Junction 8 Skyline Drive From its junction with the M62 Junction 8 circulatory for a distance of approximately 300 metres
in a southerly direction. Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit

in a westerly direction.
Suspension of The Borough of Warrington (Burtonwood Road) (40 mph Speed Limit) Order 2003:
In so far as it relates to the following section of carriageway:-
Burtonwood Road From its junction with Kingswood Road to its junction with Lockheed Road (including the
circulatory carriageway of the M62 Junction 8). Suspension of The Borough of Warrington (Omega North and Omega South) (30 mph and 40mph Speed Limits) Order 2015:
In so far as it relates to the following section of carriageway:
Skyline Drive From its junction with the M62 Junction 8 circulatory for a distance of approximately 300 metres in a westerly direction.
The Order will be effective from 16th January 2017 for a period of 18 months and will be implemented in phases to ensure that disruption is kept to a minimum. The Temporary 30 mph Speed Limit Closure will be in operation 24 hours a day for the duration of this order. All other restrictions and closures will be in place as and when the signs are in place on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative routes will be:-

Charon Way Via Europa Boulevard, Westbrook Crescent, Westbrook Way, Burtonwood Road and vice versa Burtonwood Road Via Burtonwood Road, Westbrook Way, Westbrook Crescent, Europa Boulevard, Charon Way and vice versa
General For all other diversions a signed diversion route will be signed on site as and when applicable.
The restrictions and closures are required to undertake a series of highway improvement works associated with the M62 junction 8 and realignment of Charon Way.

THE BOROUGH OF WARRINGTON (WILMOT AVENUE, GREAT SANKEY) (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2016 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Wilmot Avenue from its junction with Charles Avenue to its junction with Halton Road. The Order will be effective on Wednesday 4th January 2017 for a period of 2 weeks as and when the signs are in place on site.

The alternative route will be Wilmot Avenue via Halton Road, Charles Avenue and vice versa.
The closure is required to allow United Utilities to carry out repair works to a collapsed carriageway sewer.

The effect of which will be as follows: -Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Footway Closure

The Order will be effective from Monday 2nd January 2017 for a period of 4 weeks. The closures and restrictions will
be in place as and when the signs are in place on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for
the duration of the works.
The alternative routes will be:
Mustard Lane Via Sandy Lane, Heath Lane and vice versa Heath Lane Via Sandy Lane, Mustard Lane
