The following applications have been received by the Council and are required to be advertised under the above Acts:

The Council has received the following planning application which affects a Public Right of Way
A/22/93460/CU Land Adjacent To Yew Tree Farm Carr Lane Landside Leigh Change of use of field to off-lead dog walking area together with erection of shelter/store, 1.8 metre high security fencing and associated car parking A/22/93861/MAJOR 97 Alderley Lane Leigh WN7 3DW Demolition of an existing dwelling (No 97) and the construction of 34 dwellings with associated access The Council has received the following planning application which is located within a Conservation Area Conservation Area: Railway Road A/22/93872/FULL 44 - 46 Railway Road Leigh WN7 4AT To extend existing building, second floor extension to rear, inclusive of dormer to create an additional one bed apartment, single storey to rear, together with external alterations and improvements to elevations and reinstatement of front boundary wall A planning application has been made to Wigan Council for the above proposal, which the Council considers would affect the character or appearance of the Conservation Area.
