ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 The Borough of Warrington (Scotland Road) (Bus Gate) Order 2021 Notice is hereby given that the Council made an order under Sections 1,2,4,5 & Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & by virtue of the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking & Special Parking Area) (Borough of Warrington) Order 2006 made by Order under Section 43 & Schedule 3 of The Road Traffic Act 1991 & the Bus Lane Contraventions (Approved Local Authorities) (England) (Amendment) (No.8) Order 2006 made by the Secretary of State for Transport pursuant to Section 144 of the Transport Act 2000 & all other enabling powers on 25th August 2021. The effect of the Order is to introduce a 24 Hour Bus Gate (including pedal cycles & taxis) on the length of Scotland Rd which extends from its jet. with Cockhedge Way to the exit from Prince Henry Square Car Park (an approx. distance of 50m in a north westerly direction), in both directions. The Order will be effective from 30th August 2021. Ref: Net/1566

The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation (Amendment No. 35) (Part 1) Order 2021 Notice is hereby given that the Council made an Order under Sections 1,2,4 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & of all other enabling powers on 25th August 2021. The effect of the Order is as follows:-
1. The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation Order 2018, is hereby further varied or amended as follows:-

(a) In the 65th Schedule by the deletion of: Loading & unloading only bays, any time:

(b) In the 73rd Schedule by the deletion of: No loading & unloading between the hours of 8:15am to 9:15am & 4:30pm to 6:00pm, every day: Scotland Rd (North East Side)

- Between a point 13.7m east of its jet. with Winwick St & its jet. with Cockhedge Way.

(c) In the 75th Schedule by the deletion of: No loading & unloading between the hours of 6:00am to 6:00pm, every day: Cockhedge Way (North Side) - From its jet. with Scotland Rd for a distance of 8.4m in an easterly direction.

(d) In the 96th Schedule by the deletion of: Hackney Carriage Stands Clearway: Cockhedge Way - Stand on north side between vehicle entrance at rear of property numbers 2 & 4 & Scotland Rd.

(e) In the 3rd Schedule by the addition of: No waiting at any time: Cockhedge Way (North Side) - From a point 8.4m east of its jet. with Scotland Rd to a point 23.1 m east of Scotland Rd; Service Road to No.1 Time Sg & Market (Both Sides) - For its entire length.

(f) In the 71st Schedule by the addition of: No loading & unloading at any time: Cockhedge Way (North Side) - From its jet. with Scotland Rd for a distance of 8.4m in an easterly direction; Cockhedge Way (North Side) - From a point 8.4m east of its jet. with Scotland Rd to a point 35.2m east of Scotland Rd; Scotland Rd (North Side) - From a point 13.7m east of its jet. with Winwick St to its jet. with Cockhedge Way; Service Road to No.1 Time Square & Market (Both Sides) - For its entire length.

(g) In the 96th Schedule by the addition of: Hackney Carriage Stands Clearway: Scotland Rd - Stand on the south west side between Winwick St & Town Hill; Scotland Rd - Stand on the north side between Winwick St & access to Prince Henry Car Park.

In accordance with Regulation 19 of the Local Authorities Traffic Regulation Orders (Procedure) (England & Wales) Regulations 1996 the Council has deferred part of the order proposed in the Notice dated 26th November 2020 & is making the Order in part as detailed in this Notice. The Order will be effective from 30th August 2021 & may be cited as "The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation (Amendment No. 35) (Part 1) Order 2021". The effect of the Order is as follows:-
1. The Borough of Warrington (Traffic Management) (Civil Enforcement) Consolidation Order 2018, is hereby further varied or amended as follows:-

(a) In the 71st Schedule by the deletion of: No loading & unloading at any time: Scotland Rd (North East Side) - From its jet. with Buttermarket St to a point 56m south east of its jet. with Cockhedge Way.

(b) In the 73rd Schedule by the deletion of: No loading & unloading between the hours of 8:15am to 9:15am & 4:30pm to 6:00pm, every day: Scotland Rd (North East Side)

- From its jet. with Cockhedge Way for a distance of 56m in a southerly direction.

(c) In the 71st Schedule by the addition of: No loading & unloading at any time: Scotland Rd (North East Side) - From its jet. with Cockhedge Way to its jet. with Buttermarket St.

The Order will be effective from 30th August 2021.

Any person who wishes to guestion the validity of the Orders or of any provisions contained in them on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from 25th August 2021, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
