WARRINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Various Roads in Fairfield & Howley (Prohibition of Driving & Clearway) Temporary Order 2021 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway as follows: Entire lengths of road: Oakland St; Grosvenor Ave; Connaught Ave; Clarence St; Derby Or; Claude St; Granville St; Buckton St; Marsh St; Fife Rd; Egerton Ave from Derby Dr to Grosvenor Ave; Padgate Ln from Manchester Rd to Marsh House Ln/Gorsey Ln. The Order will be effective from 24th May 2021 for 8 weeks between 8:30am & 5:30pm, except Padgate Ln which will be 9:30am to 3:30pm, when signed on site. The alternative routes are Oakland St via Grosvenor Ave, Manchester Rd, King Edward St, Padgate Ln & vice versa; Grosvenor Ave via Oakland St, Padgate Ln, King Edward St, Manchester Rd & vice versa; Connaught Ave via Derby Dr, Egerton Ave, Grosvenor Ave, Manchester Rd, King Edward St & vice versa; Clarence St via King Edward St, Manchester Rd, Alexandra St or via Alexandra St, Padgate Ln, King Edward St; Derby Drvia Connaught Ave, Grosvenor Ave & vice versa; Egerton Ave via Derby Dr, Connaught Ave, Grosvenor Ave & vice versa; Claude St via Hume St, Granville St, Algernon St & vice versa; Granville St via Hume St, Buckton St, Willis St & vice versa or via Hume St, Claude St, Harrison CI, Fairfield St, Willis St & vice versa; Buckton St via Hume St, Granville St, Willis St & vice versa or via Fothergill St, Marsh St, Marsh House Ln, Hulme St & vice versa; Marsh St via Marsh House Ln, Padgate Ln, Manchester Rd & vice versa or via Manchester Rd, Fairfield St, Willis St, Buckton St, Hume St, Marsh House Ln & vice versa; Padgate Ln via Padgate Ln, King Edward St, Manchester Rd & vice versa or via Marsh House Ln, Battersby Ln, Manchester Rd & vice versa; Fife Rd via Alexandra St, Padgate Ln, Beresford St or via Beresford St, Manchester Rd, Alexandra St. The restrictions are required for carriageway or footway surfacing. Notice is hereby given that the Council made Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Malpas Dr. Great Sankey (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2021
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Malpas Dr from its jet. with Malpas Way to its jet. with Huntley St. The Order will be effective from 4th May 2021 for a period of 2 weeks, when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Malpas Way, Hood Ln, Huntley St & vice versa. The closure is required to allow for United Utilities to carry out sewer repairs. Ref: High/2213

Ulverston Ave & Benson Rd (Prohibition of Driving & Clearway) Temporary Order 2021 The effect of which is as follows:- Prohibition of Driving & Clearway: Ulverston Ave - Parking area fronting properties 50 to 64; Prohibition of Driving: Benson Rd - From its jet. with Brock Rd in a north east, then south easterly direction to the end of the adopted highway. The Order will be effective from 5th May 2021, the restriction for Ulverston Ave will be in place for a period of 3 days & the restriction for Benson Rd will be in place on 6th May 2021 only between 9pm & 23:59pm. The restrictions will be in place as & when signed on site. The restrictions are required to allow for works associated with the local elections to take place Ref: High/2214
The effect of which is as follows:-
- Parking area fronting properties 50 to 64;
- From its jet. with Brock Rd in a north east, then south easterly direction to the end of the adopted highway. The Order will be effective from 5th May 2021, the restriction for Ulverston Ave will be in place for a period of 3 days & the restriction for Benson Rd will be in place on 6th May 2021 only between 9pm & 23:59pm. The restrictions will be in place as & when signed on site. The restrictions are required to allow for works associated with the local elections to take place

Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.
The Borough of Warrington (Beresford St) (One Way) Order 2021 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council proposes to make an order under Sections 1,2 & 4 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & of all other enabling powers. The effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Beresford St, in any direction other than a southerly direction (north to south).
