ST HELENS BOROUGH COUNCIL THE COUNCIL OF ST. HELENS (BARROW STREET, ST. HELENS) (REVOCATION, PROHIBITION OF DRIVING, ONE WAY TRAFFIC AND PROHIBITION OF ENTRY) (EXPERIMENTAL) ORDER 2021 ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 31st March 2021, the St Helens Borough Council, in exercise of its powers under Sections 1(1), 2(1), (2) and (4), 4 and 9 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers, made an Order the effect of which will be as described in the schedule below:-

From its junction with Claughton Street to its car park access at the rear of 20 to 22 Barrow Street
Restriction
Prohibition of Driving except for permit holders Monday to Thursday inclusive and for loading or unloading by Goods Vehicles, Monday to Thursday between the hours of 17.00 hours until midnight and midnight
until 10.00 hours._
One-way Traffic in a south westerly direction.

From its junction with Claughton Street to its car park access at the rear of 20 to 22 Barrow
Street_
From its car park access at the rear of 20-22 Barrow Street to its junction with Ormskirk Street
Barrow Street
Prohibition of Driving except for permit holders at any time and for loading by Goods Vehicles any day 17.00
hours until midnight and midnight until 10.00 hours.
The above restrictions will be introduced for an experimental period of up to 18 months. The Council will, in due course, consider whether the provisions of the Experimental Order should continue in force indefinitely. The Order will come into operation on 16th April 2021.

or by writing to the Traffic Engineering Section, Place Services Department, Wesley House, 4th Floor, Corporation Street, St Helens.
Any person wishing to object to the restrictions being continued in force indefinitely must do so in writing to the undersigned, stating the grounds of objection, within a period of six months from the date of the Order coming into operation.
