The Council has the above proposals under consideration. The reason for this notice is that the proposals are a Major Planning Application as defined by Article 2 of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015.
Development Affecting a Listed Building and conservation area Application No: 2021/38652 & 2021/38653 Proposal: Full Planning - Proposed re-roofing to the existing drill hall, heritage approved glazed roof light system and new rainwater goods Location: East Annexe, Town Hall, Sankey Street, Bewsey and Whitecross, Warrington, WA11UH Applicant: Hazel Handley The Council has the above proposal under consideration and is required to give notice of it, as required by Section 67 of the Town and Country Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990 as the proposal affects the setting of a Listed Building. The proposal may also affect the character and appearance of the Conservation Area within the meaning of Section 73 of the Town and Country Planning (Listed Buildings & Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
