ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (as Amended) - SECTION 14(1) THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF ST. HELENS (SCHOOL STREETS. ST HELENS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING EXCEPT CYCLES AND ACCESS) ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 4th day of September, 2020, the St. Helens Borough Council made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as Amended), the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle (except cycles and those gaining access) to proceed in either direction along the roads listed in Schedule 1, as and when directed by road traffic signs on-site.

The Order came into force on Monday 7th September 2020, and will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.
The reason for making this Order is to facilitate the social distancing measures at the primary schools listed on the roads in schedule 1.
