Various Roads in Burtonwood and Winwick (Prohibition of Driving and Clearway) Temporary Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway as follows: Hawkshead Rd - Full length; St. Oswalds CI - Full length; Pilgrim CI - Full length; Waterworks Ln from Myddleton Ln for 300 metres in a north easterly direction; Myddleton Ln - full length of cul-de-sac from No. 99 to No. 113; Maple Rd - Full length; Delph Ln from the junction with Mill Ln for 100 metres in an easterly direction. The Order will be effective from 7th September 2020 for 6 weeks between 8:30am and 5:30pm, when signed on site. The alternative routes will be as follows: Hawkshead Rd via Milnthorpe Rd, Chapel Ln, Clay Ln, Fairclough St, Herbert St and vice versa and Delph Ln via A49 Newton Rd, Hollins Ln, Watery Ln, Mill Ln and vice versa or via Mill Ln, Calver Rd, Cromwell Ave, Winwick Rd, Newton Rd and vice versa. The restrictions are required for carriageway and footway surfacing. Ret: High/2140
Weir Lane, Woolston (Prohibition of Driving and 10 MPH Speed Limit) Temporary Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving and a 10 mph speed limit restriction on Weir Ln from its junction with Edward Gardens in a southerly direction to the end of the public highway. The Order will be effective from 7th September 2020 for 4 weeks as and when signed on site. The restrictions are required to allow Scottish Power to lay High Voltage cables. Ref: High/2136 Access will be under the control of the relevant contractor for the duration of the works. DATED: 20th August 2020
