ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 The Borough of Warrington (Covid-19 Response) (Various Prohibitions. Restrictions. Revocations & Suspensions in Town Centre) Temporary Order 2020 Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce the following restrictions: -
1. Temporarily vary or suspend the Orders specified in Column 1 of Schedule 1 to this Notice to the extent as detailed in Column 2 of the said Schedule.
2. To prohibit any Motor Vehicle proceeding on Winmarleigh Street from making a left hand turn at its junction with Sankey Street, except for Pedal Cycles.
3. To prohibit any Motor Vehicle from proceeding along the lengths of road specified in Column 1 of Schedule 2 to this Notice to the extent as detailed in Column 2 of the said Schedule.
4. To prohibit any Motor Vehicle from proceeding along the lengths of road specified in Column 1 of Schedule 3 to this Notice in any direction other than that specified in Column 2 of the said Schedule, except for Pedal Cycles.
The order will be effective from 29th June 2020 for a maximum period of 18 months & will be effective as & when indicated by traffic signs on site. This Order supersedes any contravening orders. The restrictions are required to facilitate COVID-19 response & recovery measures.
Schedule 1 - Variation/Suspensions Column 2
The Borough of Warrington (Academy Street & Scotland Road) (One-way Traffic & Bus Lane) Order 1991
In so far as it relates to Article 1 (1) (ii) which is varied to the following:
"on that length of Scotland Road which extends from the entrance into Prince Henry Square (Car Park) to its junction with the eastern boundary of Horsemarket Street."

Is suspended in so far as it relates to the Fourth Schedule (One Way) as follows:

(Civil Enforcement) Bold Street (East Side) - From a point 13.7 metres south Consolidation of its junction with St Austins Lane for a distance of 23 metres Order 2018 in a southerly direction.
Bold Street (East Side) - From a point 13.7 metres north of its junction with Wilson Patten Street for a distance of 20 metres in a northerly direction.
Sankey Street (North Side) - Between a point 48.9 metres east of its junction with Crosfield Street & a point 14.1 metres west of its junction with Town Hall West Drive. Schedule 40 - Waiting Limited to 30 Minutes, Monday to Saturday 8:00am to 6:30pm. No Return within 1 Hour: Sankey Street (South Side) - Between a point 89 metres east of its junction with Springfield Street & a point 21.6 metres west of its junction with Bold Street. Schedule 65 - Loading & Unloading Only Bays. Any Time: All that part of the north kerb line of Cockhedge Way which is bounded on the north by so much of that highway as extends from a point 8.4 metres east of its junction with Scotland Road for a distance of 14.7 metres in an easterly direction & which has a width throughout of 2.7 metres - Wholly within the limits of the loading bay & parallel to the kerb.
