MARGARET EMSON 28.05.1930 - 25.09.2019 Margaret's family would like to thank everyone that attended her funeral, made donations, sent flowers, cards and kind messages. The warm comments and sincere thoughts were very much appreciated. Donations have been made to Breast Cancer Support. The family would like to thank Deacon John Clowes for conducting the funeral service at Blessed John Henry Newman Catholic church and Pauline Dickinson for playing the organ. Margaret was born in Latchford to Henry and Elizabeth Harrison along with Mary, Henry, Winifred, Dorothy and Elizabeth. After leaving school at 14 she worked as a book binder and clerical assistant at the Cooperative printing company. In later years she was the caretaker at St Augustine's primary school. In 1957 she married Terry and they were together until his death in 1993. They had two children Kathryn and John and two grand children Charlotte and George. Margaret had a great sense of humour, was well known for her one liners and enjoyed telling her stories to family and friends. She was a keen gardener and enjoyed many happy hours growing plants in her green house. She enjoyed family gatherings often hosted by John and Jackie. In recent years she spent many happy holidays at the St George hotel in Llandudno with Kathryn. Over the years Margaret made many acts of kindness that were mostly only known to those involved. Funeral arrangements were made by P J Lundy.
