ALAN PIERS DAKIN Sunrose: 15/06/1930 Sunset: 31/12/2020. Alan passed away peacefully, at home on New Years Eve 2020. Alan served with the REME's during his National Service & his places of unemployment include Walker Cains brewery, Thames Board Mills, Peter Stubbs and TI New World. Alan was a devoted father to his sons Graham and Ian and daughter in law, Bev. Grandfather to Loren, Lee, Darren and the late Jack Piers Dakin and also had 9 Great Grandchildren. Alan was a loving brother to his sister Betty (deceased) and also Geoff, sister in law Margaret and sons Adam, Gregg and the late Jason Dakin. The funeral has already taken place on the 15/01/2021 & the family requested no flowers or donations. A future memorial service will be held, after lockdown restrictions end & Alan's ashes will be interned with his beloved "better half" Beryl May Dakin at Fox Covert.
