William "Bill" Goodwin

William 'Bill' Goodwin Passed away peacefully on 7th September 2020 aged 91 years, he will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. A funeral service will take place on Thursday 24th September 2020 at Walton Lea Crematorium at 1.40pm. The funeral cars will pass Alford Hall Social Club, Manchester Road between 1 - 1.30pm for those wishing to pay their respects. Genuinely lovely man, always happy and smiling and would be the first to offer help to anyone. They don't make them like Bill any more and so sorry for his family that he's no longer around. Rest in peace Bill

Shared an office with Bill at UKAEA early 1970's. He was a really nice bloke, very helpful, very chatty, very jolly and very 'genuine'. He was always talking about his son. Still looks the same in this photo. RIP Bill
