Derek Shuttleworth Slater Derek Shuttleworth Slater (formerly of Wordsworth Avenue, Off Chester Road, Warrington) passed away peacefully on 27th July 2020 after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease, aged 83 years. Derek, a much loved husband of Jean, father of Stephen and grandad of Gemma will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A private family funeral service will take place at Mountsett Crematorium in County Durham on 11th August 2020. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired in memory of Derek should be forwarded to The Alzheimer's Society.
