DOROTHY TAYLOR

Published on 21/05/2020

DOROTHY TAYLOR (BA Hons) Sadly passed away on 9th May 2020. Much adored wife of Tom, her husband of 62 years. She loved her dogs, books and her kids, in that order. Dorothy was a strong proponent of human rights, equality and education; working for many years as a Probation Officer. Proud of her 5 graduate children, 10 graduate grandchildren but, more importantly, her 1976 Crufts' Supreme Champion. A private service to be held shortly, and a celebration of Dorothy's life to be announced at a later date. Sincere thanks to the nurses and carers at Brampton Lodge for their kindness and compassion. Donations in memory of Dorothy should be made to The Fawcett Society.

Belated condolences to the family, in particular Andrew Taylor - an old friend from Liverpool University. Much time has passed since then, but I still remember the reverence that his parents were held in. If you wish to get back in contact then please use: russellmagee2@btinte
