SANDRA BENNETT "The funeral has taken place on the 4th Feb 2020 at Walton Lea crematorium, of the late Sandra Bennett. Daughter of Lily and Ted Stout, formally of Maragret St, Warrington and Windermere Avenue, Orford. Sandra attended Hamilton Street Primary School and Orford Secondary School. On leaving school, Sandra started work in Boots the Chemist in Bridge St, then later moved onto various jobs, including working at Warrington Infirmary and Nursing homes as a domestic, she also worked as a silver service waitress at Warrington Golf Club. Sandra retired at the age of 60. Sandra met and married in the late 60's and had two daughters and was divorced in the early 80's. Sandra met her second husband, Kenneth in the mid 80's but they'd known each other socially from "The Boy's Club" days. Kenny had 4 children, they all moved into Froghall Lane to accommodate their family. They later married on the 3rd May 1997. They moved to a bungalow in Cinnamon Brow in 2012 when their family had all left home. Kenny and Sandra liked to go to their caravan in North Wales and made lots of friends there in the Talacre Arms. Sandra spent many holidays as a young girl holidaying in North Wales, she also enjoyed holidays abroad. Sandra liked to follow rugby league on the TV, also golf, snooker and quiz programmes. Sandra had 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, she passed away peacefully in St Rocco's Hospice on 18th January after a short illness aged 69. Funeral arrangements by the co-op funeral services, and celebrant was Malcolm Kindon. Any donations in Sandra's memory are being received for St Rocco's Hospice and Macmillan."
