CAN we please have our village back?

For the past 20 years Grappenhall village has been blighted by the state of the former Rectory which is directly opposite our beautiful old church.

This fine Georgian building has for years been in a derelict state and despite visits to the council and frequent requests to the owner, restoration work has long since come to a full stop.

How many more years will it be before christenings, weddings and funerals can take place in Grappenhall without people seeing what resembles a scrap yard as they leave the church?

It is time that Warrington Borough Council decided once and for all to review this situation before another generation of our children are denied seeing the village in all its glory.
