Vascular team are experienced

IN last week’s Guardian David Barlow states he would rather have vascular surgery at the Countess of Chester Hospital and not by a general surgeon in Warrington.

I can tell him that if he needs emergency surgery he will not survive the journey to Chester.

The team at Warrington is more than experienced in vascular surgery and the surgeon responsible is extremely experienced. The after care from theatre to the recovery unit, ward, or ITU, is first class.

Ummm hate to point this out but you cant be a RGN retired.....if your retired you dont have either a valid and up to date registration and therefore not current evidenced based clinical practice to underpin your knowledge!

im guessing those who do have are the ones who made the decisions to move the team to a centre of excellence......you know because of the evidence?!?!?
