THANK you for the generous support towards Warrington’s Second Mela on July 8.
The Warrington Guardian was very helpful with the press release of the Mela. We hope you will be pleased with the success achieved.
We feel the ethnic cultural event will further strengthen the relationship between all Warrington communities.
I think you will agree everyone enjoyed a spectacular day of fun, excitement and entertainment to their favourite ethnic music, dance and songs.
Warrington Mela is going to be an annual event organised by WECA with the approval of Warrington Borough Council and sponsors.
The aim of holding the Mela was to break down cultural barriers, develop a better understanding of other cultures and improve community cohesion.
We will continue to work together to build a stronger community.
