Look beyond the paintwork at care home
2:20pm Wednesday 27th June 2012 in Letters
IN response to the comments made by a relative of a resident at the Three Bridges Care Home in Latchford, I felt the need to write and dispute what, to me, is categorically untrue.
My Mother has been a resident there for the past two years and has received first class care.
After looking at many homes, prior to making a decision, Three Bridges was an easy choice to make.
Staff are professional, caring and respond empathetically to all the residents’ needs. I visit the home daily, at varying times and not once have I had cause for concern at the way I have seen staff care for the service users.
I would like to thank each and every member of the team and congratulate them on giving residents a true sense of value and pride and by helping them to feel part of the Three Bridges family.
I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending that the people of Warrington consider this care home for any of their relatives.
Perhaps when the disgruntled family look around other placements they will appreciate what is on offer at Three Bridges, by visiting more frequently, surely they will see beyond the paintwork and appreciate what matters in a residential placement.
