Usually PHD research is based around evdience and fact, there is no evidence of a god and indeed no fact either. Its assumption of the 'word of god' that was written by a group of people over many years!"

Pressure by preachers does disservice to Christianity

I WISH to warn readers of the danger of Christian fundamentalists operating in the town centre.

On Friday, April 6, I was out enjoying a nice quiet drink with my girlfriend when she was subjected to aggressive preaching by a group of Christian fundamentalists in one of the bars.

I have no problem with Christianity. I myself go to church. But what I don’t like is when they try to pressure my girlfriend to go upstairs with them for prayer.

This was totally out of order and does a great disservice to Christianity.

I regard the practice as totally unacceptable as it puts unfair pressure on people, particularly the young and vulnerable.

They were operating in pairs approaching people in the nightclub and I found it extremely creepy and sinister.
