Why a bus lane from Alder Lane to A49?

CAN someone from the council’s highways deptartment please explain why the exit from Alder Lane, Orford to the A49 has been designated for buses and cycles only when there is no bus route along Alder Lane?

Is this, along with the exorbitant charges quoted for private homes to conform with the castle walls project, another example of university qualified ‘daydreaming’ being preferred to reality or do these people actually live locally?

Perhaps they know something you don't, like maybe there will be a bus at some future date, to cater for visitors of the newly remodelled Orford Park?
