IN reply to H Jones’ letter in last week’s Guardian regarding the security staff at the Parr Hall during the Magic of Motown show.
I too was at this show and can only commend the security staff.
The only thing they may have been guilty of is not acting sooner.
I had an aisle seat in the centre of the arena and had people dancing very close to me. In fact I practically got slapped in the face by stray arms on a couple of occasions.
It was very distracting having all this going on while I was trying to enjoy what was a really good show.
The tickets were a Christmas gift and the actions of a minority of audience members spoiled it.
