Dog owners should 'pick up' after their pets

AS a dog owner I am appalled at the amount of dog mess in the area where I live in Penketh.

I know this subject has been raised before but it seems to be getting worse, and I am so angry at these dog owners.

Instead of enjoying my daily walks with my dog, looking at the flora and fauna I am constantly looking down to dodge the dog mess. My grandchildren have often stood in it, or rode their bikes through it, they have also brought it into school on their shoes, it really is disgusting.

Are the owners too lazy to be bothered to bend down and pick it up?

So come on you irresponsible dog owners, you know who you are. Pick up after your pets.

You know what D Pleavin. dog licences should be reintrocuced at a very high fee. That will stop some couldn't care less owners from keeping dogs.
Ok so some will dodge paying a licence fee. So also introduce Dog Licence Inspectors. Works with television licence dodgers.
