WITH reference to Steven Broomhead and HS2, I could not agree more with his latest column (Warrington Guardian, June 14).
The last month has seen nothing but chaos on the railways, due to some extraordinary timetable changes, which they even had a plan B for.
This caused even more chaos, particularly in the north west and for some reason, Cumbria has been hit most of all.
It certainly is time to scrap the HS2, and use the remaining sites still available from the 1960s, to revive those routes that were condemned back then.
