I ENJOYED my visit to the Makers Market again on Sunday.
It is the third time I have been to the new venture and it seems to get busier every time, with more stalls and traders to choose from.
Queens Gardens is the perfect venue for it and organisers have been lucky to have the perfect weather each time as well.
I imagine the other shop keepers and restaurant owners in town also enjoy the extra number of shoppers.
One sour note though.
I had to get some cash out so walked to Natwest.
The area felt so desolate. The old TJ Hughes/Co-op building, the old Lloyd’s bank and much of the rest of Sankey Street was deserted and much of it boarded up.
It looked like a sad old wild west town.
The sooner the old Cabinet Works and Time Square are developed and open for business, the better.
