I HAVE been actively bidding for a move to a two-bed property since August 2016 when I was five months’ pregnant.
My child is now 16 months old and we are no closer.
We live in an upstairs one bedroom flat on Whitecross Road and are given no priority for being in an upstairs flat.
It is very difficult to go out with a baby and pram, especially now my child is so mobile.
I’ve lived in my council flat for 10 years and always been a reliable-paying tenant.
I have a long history of anxiety and depression and take antidepressants.
I have had my local MP involved and also taken a GP letter in support of how the cramped living conditions are affecting my mental health.
GGHT still refuses to give us any more priority.
Messages I’ve sent are not answered for weeks.
It’s a disgrace.
