IN February you published my letter entitled ‘Some service?’ This describes the rather disappointing response that I had received from one of the councillors representing the Woolston and Rixton Ward.
A couple of weeks later another issue arose and I decided to give the councillor another chance. The issue concerns inconsiderate parking caused by school run drivers.
I asked the councillor to explore ways of reducing this problem by better management and suggested ways this might be pursued.
I regret to say that the councillor has not responded to my emails, despite a couple of reminders.
I think that a Latin phrase Res ipsa loquitor is rather apt. It translates as ‘let the facts speak for themselves’.
I welcome the views and experiences of other readers.
