THE community within Calgarth Avenue was not aware that a potentially harmful site could be built within a short distance away (Warrington Guardian, February 1).
This will inevitably cause awful smells to the nearby areas and potentially cause more rodents/flies.
I got in contact with the council who advised a meeting took place last summer to raise concerns from the public.
We were not informed of this and we were left in the dark.
The whole of the community at Calgarth Avenue are objecting to this.
The council made note that it would not affect Dallam and mainly affect Orford – this is why no communication was brought forward to us.
I think the communication is shocking as they seem to kick off if people are behind with paying their tax but seem to be ignorant when it comes to raising issues.
