LIKE Mrs Dobson (Warrington Guardian, February 1), I too had a similar experience at Riverside Retail Park.
Approximately 18 months ago I visited there and stayed around 40 minutes, returning later in the afternoon for another 30 minutes.
Six days later I received a parking charge also stating I had been there for over the allowed time.
I replied and asked them to check the camera footage as I had visited twice that day.
I got a reply saying no further action would be taken, obviously they had checked and found my statement to be true.
Again I wrote and asked if it was a manual or technical error. I did not get an apology but a letter saying they would not be looking into it any further.
