WITH reference to the Horse and Jockey Hotel (Warrington Guardian, January 25).
My late wife and I had our wedding reception there in June 1956. It was held in the room above the bars with the bay window above the entrance.
We had more than 100 guests for the meal and a dance in the evening.
Her uncle and aunt Mr and Mrs Edward Shaw were the licensees.
