WE seem to read weekly articles about Warrington Borough Council’s investments.
Banking, property management and now housing.
Perhaps I could suggest that they invest in a gully emptying enterprise.
This would ease the problem of semi-flooded roads within the borough and stop pedestrians being accidentally splashed with dirty rain water.
Thelwall New Road, near to the school, has a pool of water on both sides of the road that nearly meet in the middle.
Children have to walk around these pools, cyclists have to veer into the centre of the road to avoid them and parents walking their children to school run the risk of a soaking.
