I FULLY endorse the sentiments expressed last week in reply to James Wilson’s of Orford surmise that we should ‘admit it was a mistake’ to leave the EU.
It seems he is of the opinion and swallowed the non-stop propaganda campaign daily dished out by our ‘experts’, the establishment elitist.
They who consist of our leading politicians, bankers, hedge fund managers, senior barristers and judges, corporations and top civil servants etc, and all those like Tony Blair and other ex-politicians who have some financial connections to the EU.
With almost no exception, all of the above elitists want to remain and voted to remain, while at the same time insisting they respect the referendum result, are now doing their worst to undermine the decision to leave the EU.
Most MPs and the media insist they respect the result while doing their worst to undermine the decision to leave and undermine the PM’s every move with regards to Brexit – nobly claiming they are ‘defending parliamentary democracy’ while working to thwart the democracy expressed by 17.4 million leave voters.
Like Julia Leigh, I am proud to have used my vote to leave, and would ask those in doubt why they would feel they would want to be in the same bed as all of the above elitists and while they are doing that, they might also want to ask our representative democracy, who represents the interests of the 52 per cent of voters who backed leave in 2016 ?
