Bad attitude
IT was at 5.15pm one evening this week and it was dark when I was driving from Norris Street up into Hallfields Road, which is not a well lit road.
I just about noticed a man riding on the road on a bicycle with no lights and wearing black clothing.
As I turned right into Smith Drive I noticed there was a child’s bike rack on the back of the bike with a young child sat on the back, they were not wearing a helmet.
The man started lambasting me for turning into Smith Drive, while showing absolutely no concern for the child’s safety.
As a driver it amazes me the number of people who ride a bike with no lights and wearing dark clothing, but in this instance I could not believe this man’s attitude.
