Poignant
WE would like to thank everyone who attended St Cross Church in Appleton Thorn on Remembrance Sunday.
The church was decorated with 3,000 poppies.
Thank you to those who attended from the Fleet Air Arm Association, Thorn Cross Prison, the parish council and all the villagers.
The service was beautifully conducted by lay reader Linda Buckley with a full church as it was round the cenotaph, where several wreaths were laid.
