I LOVE Warrington!
There, I’ve said it and I feel as though I want to shout it from the rooftops.
Who else is with me?
I’ve lived in Warrington all of my life (41 years to be exact) and I’ve always loved this town.
I’m constantly reading negative comments about Warrington on social media.
This negativity about the town isn’t a new phenomenon, growing up kids at school would often state ‘Warrington is rubbish’. Why?
Why don’t people open their eyes and feel a sense of pride in where they belong? Warrington has always offered me and, now my young family, an excellent standard of living.
We have fantastic parks, great communities, good transport links, excellent schools, a variety of good restaurants and shops, good employment opportunities, a great rugby team and low crime rates.
Yes the town centre isn’t what it use to be, but this is being developed.
Yes the traffic is congested, but hey welcome to the UK.
It’s easy to moan about what isn’t right but let’s start a different campaign.
Let’s come to together as fellow Warringtonians and let’s start using a louder positive voice about what it is that we love about where we live.
