OVER the many years that I have worked as a volunteer in the public sector, I have seen four different organisations appointed by the council to deliver the programme for health and wellbeing.
No disrespect to the previous ones but I have found Healthwatch, the organisation which has the current contract, to be very efficient and very good to work with.
Their contract is due for renewal.
I personally would recommend that they are allowed to carry on.
To bring in another team would probably not be cost effective and once again disrupt the understanding and efficient care that Healthwatch are now delivering to the Warrington public.
When it’s not broke, why try to mend it?
