Lamb memory
IN answer to Mr Black’s query (Warrington Guardian, October 12), The Lamb, commonly known as The Dive, was I think the only pub in Warrington where you could get draught Bass.
So the drill on Saturday night was a pub crawl ending up at The Lamb (The Dive), top ourselves up with a couple of pints of draught Bass, and on to the dance halls.
I must say ‘The Dive’ was one of the cleanest and most cosy pubs in Warrington, plus never a bad pint.
