AS a resident of Lower Walton it seems as if we are the forgotten community.
Generations of families still live here.
In the 1950s Laportes now Solvay built their factory on the old Morley Common and in its place we were given the present Morley Common.
This has been used by all our children and grandchildren as well as football teams and dog walkers.
We have fought long and hard to secure funding for a new play area. We now have a lovely play area but no mention in the Warrington Guardian.
We have now been informed that as well as the Western Link red route across the common we will have two roads ie Network Rail access road.
In addition we will have no safe access to Moore Nature Reserve and TP trail via the 12 arches which is also a flood plain.
