I UNFORTUNATELY had to take my wife into hospital and as this was an emergency, direct from the GP, I had limited funds on me.

I cannot believe how awkward the parking machines are at the hospital as in poor light they are almost impossible to read.

When you enter you have to remember the time of entry and that has to match the machine’s record of entry and leaving.

In a panic state that can be easy to forget.

Putting in the reg of the car does not give you the amount due so you have to either over pay or leave early.

I had to leave because of the available funds on me and was concerned I may have gone over by one or two minutes, so I expect to receive a penalty charge.

This set up is at the least daylight robbery if you get it wrong and receive a penalty charge.

Something needs to be done.
