I WANT to reiterate my comments made about concerns for the Victoria Park concert application.
Firstly, health and safety.
Flooding potential at the venue is a very real threat.
The weather cannot be predicted as accurately as you seem to believe. We see this nationally with music venues flooding out such as Glastonbury and flash floods that people could not predict generally.
The venue is in a risk flood area and it is on the wrong side of the flood defences to be protected.
What happens in the event of a flood to the 25,000 people who attend?
Secondly, terror attacks and security.
We have unfortunately all been witness to too many devastating terrorist attacks including the bombing in Manchester recently and the weaponised vehicle attacks that we have seen in France and we have seen them in London more recently.
What street furnishings and highcarb facilities are we going to see along Knutsford Road to prevent such tragic vehicle ramming events happening in Warrington?
