IT is not often I see eye to eye with Gary Bebbington, I must admit his letter in this week’s Guardian does seem to make some sense (Warrington Guardian, July 20).
After ringing 101 both on Sunday and Monday and hanging on for more than 10 minutes, without reply from Cheshire Police, I would suggest Cllr David Keane spends more money on ‘ground troops’ rather than officials.
If Warrington is to become a city, it is time the council began thinking about the more expensive project of flyovers rather than ring roads and bypasses.
