FOLLOWING my recent letter published in the Warrington Guardian (June 22) in which I raised several questions about car parking throughout Poulton North.

I have received a letter to my original complaint by email about the pot holes and poor condition of the Padgate Community Centre car park. You may recall that it serves the doctor’s surgery, community centre, scout hall and residents who reside in the cottages alongside the railway line.

The community centre marketing manager for neighbourhoods in Warrington has written to say that she would like to offer her assurances that this issue is being given careful consideration.

She is working with colleagues from other departments within the council to affect speedy, short term repairs to the pot holes while we explore a longer term solution to the car park’s improvement.

Please accept my thanks for helping me and others through the Warrington Guardian highlight the issues.
