I HAVE noticed that Jeremy Corbyn’s candidate in Warrington North is sending out personal letters to her supporters, begging them to vote for her and trying to pretend that they can vote Labour and not get Jeremy Corbyn as Prime Minister.

I also noticed that she had very kindly attached a copy of my CV to the back of the letter.

It seems a bit churlish for me to complain about such a thoughtful gesture but, had she let me know she was going to do this, I would have made sure she had an accurate copy of my CV – as the one she sent out had a few bits missing.

For instance, she claimed that I served on a ‘Bolton and Bury Business Board, which is true.

Unfortunately, she neglected to add that the board was set up by the NSPCC – and it was for the purpose of raising funds for Childline School Services!

I’m very proud of having run a local business and promoted businesses across the region.

As anyone who’s worked in business knows – they don’t respect constituency boundaries.

Many people live and shop in Warrington but work outside our town and vice versa – what’s good for the region is also good for Warrington.

I’ve posted a complete version of my CV on my Facebook page for anyone who wants to see it.
