Ugly building
IT’S awards season so I thought I’d instigate the award for the ugliest building in Warrington.
The nominees are: Winmarleigh House, the Warrington Masonic building in Winmarleigh Street, the BT telephone exchange building in Stanley Street, New Town House in Buttermarket Street and the new town centre car park.
And the winner – by an ugly mile – is the new town centre car park.
A multi-story car park is a multistory car park.
Who thought it was a good idea to put that hideous cladding on it?
