AS a person with a long term interest in politics (70 years to be precise) I have been most impressed by the demeanour of the leader of the Labour opposition.

His approach consists of a quiet dignity and a feeling that he understands the difficulties of lower paid people and those with child care needs so they can improve their lives by working.

He is also well aware that many who are working still make their pay stretch to the end of the week or month.

He puts me in mind of a quiet man named Clement Attlee who was an excellent leader when in power and didn’t use the language of fear or spend his campaigns lecturing members of the public.

Contrast this with the cat-calling and bluster and shouting of David Cameron and now Theresa May.

They are always blustering and never replying to questions in a sensible manner.

Thinking of all the difficulties which ordinary British people have had to put up with during this total failure of Tory misrule, in my humble opinion, Jeremy Corbyn is the only one who means what he says.

And he will do his best to do it as well.
